as the first point of contact front desk employees have a great impact on the experience our customers will have at beta. a positive attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills are vital. front desk employees must be savvy in all things beta and have a technical knowledge of climbing to administer belay tests and answer customer queries.
the ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who demonstrates the ability to think critically and independently.  we’re not interested in giving out checklists and micromanaging.  we believe the best way to produce quality work and happy employees is by empowering creative, passionate people to use their brains, make decisions, and have a meaningful impact.

  • previous experience in climbing/fitness/service industries
  • understanding of rock climbing gym operations and activities
  • familiarity in rock gym pro or similar software
  • proficiency in windows and ms office software
  • technical climbing knowledge
  • belay certification at beta climbing + fitness
