At BETA our Youth Programs aim to create a holistic, inclusive and nurturing environment for kids to grow their climbing skills while getting fit and having fun!
We believe that climbing is much more than just a sport and has the power to change lives by offering a platform for kids to learn teamwork, leadership, communication skills, responsibility, perseverance…the benefits are limitless.
We have recreational and competitive teams, ages 6-17.
SUMMER CAMP 2019
School’s out for the summer and it’s time to climb! Young adventure seekers will enjoy jam-packed days of climbing, playing, learning and laughing with our fun and engaging instructors. Besides doing a ton of top roping and bouldering, campers will do yoga, arts + crafts, S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts + Math) games/activities, team building exercises, and so much more!

RECREATIONAL YOUTH CLIMBING
In BETA's after school programs, kids learn through play! Our amazing instructors craft creative, educational, climbing-focused lesson plans every week meant to challenge students mentally and physically. Our unique team-building games help to develop strength, balance, focus, problem solving skills, and confidence. Your child will learn the basics of climbing technique in a supportive social environment, while 4-month seasons allow young climbers to create meaningful relationships with fellow students and instructors alike!
1:4 instructor ratio + head instructor allows for individualized attention - students will receive a detailed progress report and BETA Badge at the end of each season!

Youth Open Climb
Saturdays rock at BETA! In this class, belayers facilitate a low pressure, social environment for kids to practice their climbing skills and have a ton of fun. Students will explore the gym each week through bouldering + top-rope climbing with guidance from our knowledgeable staff to help them push their limits. Ditch the Saturday morning cartoons - jump off the couch and onto the wall!
Saturdays only - $490; 1:4 instructor to student ratio; unlimited membership for the duration of enrollment + rental gear
Do you have a busy kid who’s interested in climbing? Or are they unsure about the sport and just want to give it a try? BETA's After School SingleSesh is the class for you! Every SingleSesh our amazing instructors will lead students through a warm-up, followed by bouldering, top-roping, climbing specific games, and fun activities. Students will gain rock climbing knowledge and experience in a fun and dynamic social setting, while week-to-week sign up gives your child the space to explore the sport at their own pace!

BETA CLIMBING TEAM
The BETA Climbing Team (BCT) program is geared towards training student athletes for the USA Climbing competitive youth circuit. Team members are taught the value of dedication, sportsmanship, and accountability in pushing their climbing abilities to the next level.
As BCT coaches, we believe in the process. No matter how strong or experienced of a climber you are, we believe that making the daily choice to commit to your sport is what will drive results. Our climbers know that nothing is achieved without hard work. Team members engage in a unique and rigorous training program geared towards improving physical strength, mental fortitude, and ultimately helping to reach their climbing goals.
